Mmmmm. I love anything pickled like Mediterranean food.
With a group from our church’s posts from their trip to Israel and a friend mentioning she made Tzatziki sauce, I was really craving some.
When I started thinking of the recipe, I had the ingredients!
1/2 cup sour cream, whole fat plain or Greek yogurt
1/2 squeezed lemon juice
1 TSP dill
1/2 TSP dried mustard
1 minced garlic clove
1/4 cup grated cucumber
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients together with spoon and serve over salad, food or use a dip.
The salad in the picture had romaine lettuce, homemade pita pita croutons, diced cucumbers, dived tomatoes, couscous and dressing.
