Add More Veggies to your life: Day 1

Do you need to add more veggies into life?  How about those growing kiddos?

I’m excited to share how my children and I have been trying new veggies to expand their palates.

Welcome to Day 1 of this 3 day group! I am excited to share how my family and I have been getting more veggies into our system.

Let me start by saying this doesn’t mean we do not eat packaged, sugary items or enjoy parties with friends and family.

We makes choices to enjoy something or not, rather say we “cannot” have it.

The first way I “hide veggies” is in our daily shake. I had a friend recently visit whose son would not finish any of the past shakes, smoothies she’s given him. When they were here for a visit, he drank all of the one I made.

Another way to “hide veggies” is to steam, puree and put in sauces like spaghetti, enchilada and any other soup type base. Zucchini, eggplant, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli hide very well.

Last, you can “hide veggies” in meatballs, hamburgers and meatloaf type meals.
