Add More Veggies to your life: Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of this 3 day group!  Here is Day 1, if you need to catch up.

When I first became a coach (05/18/15), the variety of vegetables I ate was limited. Therefore, my family’s vegetable intake was even more scarce.

As I’ve made strides to be the healthiest version of myself, my family has followed suit.

This year I chose to become a master coach in the nutrition program I follow in order to better help others with their health journey.

It was suggested to ask my children if they’d be willing to try one new vegetable a week.

In the last month, my boys have tried sweet peas(I still do not like them), sugar snap peas and edamame.

They make more of a conscious effort to have veggies before other food items. That’s not to say they don’t enjoy other not so veggie like foods, but it’s nice to see them enjoying this process more than before when I was “shoving veggies down their throat”.
